Judy K. DeLuca of St. James, Missouri passed away suddenly Saturday morning, March 2, 2024 at her home in St. James, Missouri. She was 68 years of age.
Judy was born August 3, 1955 in Texas, the daughter of Norma Peters. She was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Earl and Beulah Peters.
On December 25, 2023, she was united in marriage to her lifelong partner, Mike DeLuca in Cuba, Missouri.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Mike DeLuca; step-children: Brandon DeLuca of Rolla, Missouri, Jena Dale of Rolla, Missouri, Sarah Terrill and husband, John of Independence, Missouri, and Chelsea Summer of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Jim DeLuca of St. James, Missouri, Dan DeLuca and wife, Terri of St. James, Missouri, David DeLuca, Jr. and wife, Jody of St. James, Missouri, and Gene DeLuca and wife, Rehonda of St. James, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Deborah Turner (Harold Bridgeman) of Cuba, Missouri and Amy Blake and husband, Gene of Rolla, Missouri; best friend, Roxanne Moreland of St. James, Missouri; nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Peters; her grandparents, Earl and Beulah Peters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Jean DeLuca; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey DeLuca.
Judy graduated from John F. Hodge High School in the Class of 1973. Upon graduation, she moved to St. Louis where she attended a secretarial school, and she worked for Keller Dental as a secretary in the dental laboratory for over 20 years. After retiring, Judy moved to St. James to take care of her mother. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed the adventures of fishing with Mike. She kept herself busy with crafts, and she was known for her organization and neatness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy Deluca will lie in state at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Chuck Ray officiating. Pallbearers will be Wesley DeLuca, Nathan DeLuca, Cody DeLuca, Marko Turner, Dalton Turner, and Devan Turner. Burial will be at the St. James Cemetery.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
