Deer Creek Church in Cuba, MO. Phyllis married Glennon N Whitener on February 12, 1961 at Mt Pisgah
Church in Zion, MO.

wife Michele and daughter Patricia Dawn Thompson and husband Ryan. One brother Bob Hinkle & wife
Jane, one sister Janice Bollinger & husband Ronald. One Sister-in-law Judy Yount. Fourteen

Phyllis was a wonderful, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family so
much! Phyllis and Glennon lived in several places through out their 63 years together. One place they
particularly enjoyed living was in Branson, MO. Phyllis worked for the Ray Stephens theater when it
started. Later she would retire from The Village Book Store where she would often bring home books to
read to the grandchildren. Eventually they moved back to St James and had a small farm North of town.
Phyllis and Glennon loved to ride horses and wanted their grandchildren to have that experience so they
bought a few horses and took them to the Safe Saddle Club to ride on several occasions. As time went
by, they moved back to town but Phyllis still enjoyed her family, always making meals and having
everyone over. Her life was full of good memories and good times as a family. Phyllis has now gone to
her heavenly home that she so longed for.
