James Furqueron Obituary

James Furqueron Jr. of St. James, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at his home in St. James, Missouri. He was 71 years of age.

James, the son of the late James Furqueron Sr and Blanche Louise Sylvester Furqueron, was born October 5, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan. He was united in marriage to Beverly June Payne on January 30, 1999 in South Bend, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of St. James, Missouri; two sisters, Susie Lysher of Jackson, Michigan and Diane Corser and husband, Larry of Jackson, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Furqueron; and sister, Linda Furqueron.

James worked in an automobile body shop for 30 years. He loved riding his motorcycle; he rode with the Patriot Guard for 5 years in St. Peters, Missouri.

He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball team and the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit’s baseball and football teams. He never missed the football playoffs.

The family will be scattering his ashes in one of his favorite places.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
