Christopher Tibbetts Obituary

Christopher Everett Tibbetts of Omaha, Arkansas passed away on March 18, 2024, at his home. He was 27 years of age.

Christopher was born February 13, 1997, in Jefferson City, MO the son of Kendall W. Tibbetts and Mickey Spurgeon Davis.

He is survived by his father, Kendall W. Tibbetts and wife Jackie Litton Tibbetts of Omaha, Arkansas; mother, Mikey Spurgeon Davis of St. James, Missouri; grandparents, Clifford and Leona Litton of Union, Missouri; brother, Jeremy Tibbetts of Branson, Missouri; three sisters, Marita Raper and Clayton Pankey of Rolla, Missouri, Jasmine Tyler of Nixa, Missouri and Clarissa and Josh Sommer of Springfield, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Bernard Spurgeon and wife Carolyn of Owensville, Missouri; Agness Hinson of Owensville, Missouri, Norma Pointer of Vienna, Missouri, Tommy Tibbetts of Rolla, Missouri, Jerry and Tony Shanks, Steve and Kimmy Redus of Belle Missouri and Wendall Tibbetts; cousins, Christina Tibbetts of Jefferson City, Missouri, Billy Held of St. Louis, Missouri, Brittany Shanks of Belle, Missouri, Jared and Angie Shanks of Vichy, Missouri, Nathan Roberson of Belle, Missouri, Kyle and wife Bobbie Roberson of Belle, Missouri, Jacob and wife Brandi Tibbetts of Belle, Missouri and Phoebe Tibbetts of Belle, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Wilma Tibbetts and Marion and Iretta Spurgeon; uncle Stanley Spurgeon; cousins, Scotty Tibbetts, Adams Tibbetts, Sarah Tibbetts, Russell Spurgeon, and Jared Shanks.

Christopher graduated From Belle High School Class of 2015. He was active in carpentry which included helping build his parents' home and his own. During building his home he worked as an Uber Driver. He then started working for Nabisco as an FT Sales Service Representative. Christopher was an avid fisherman at an early age. He also enjoyed hunting, kayaking, and playing his guitars. He was active in deadlifting competitions during his teenage years. He enjoyed school band with all his classmates. He accepted the Lord and was Baptized at Victory Christian Center in Rolla, MO at the age of 7. He was a kind loving soul who sincerely loved all those around him. He was always there when you needed him and was eager to help. Christopher loved his two dogs, Zeus and Wallace, they were his best friends.

Visitation for Christopher Tibbetts will be held Saturday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. March 30, 2024, at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Brother Douglas Lane Officiating. Burial of his ashes will be held at a later date.
