Stanley Joseph MorelandStanley Joseph Moreland passed away at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri on December 1, 2009. Stanley was 60 years and 5 months of age.

Stanley Joseph Moreland was born in St. James, Missouri on July 1, 1949 to his parents: William Delmar and Grace Edna (Weaver) Moreland. Stanley Joseph was known as Joe by his family and friends.

Joe was a meat cutter for many years. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.

Stanley is survived by four brothers: Charles Moreland of Fayette City, Pennsylvania; D.G. "Skeeter" Moreland of Rockport, Missouri; James Max Moreland of St. James, Missouri; and William Larry Moreland of Steelville, Missouri; three sisters: Marietta Carol Ritz of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania; Janet Eyman of Vichy, Missouri; and Brenda Skaggs of St. James, Missouri; along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends. Stanley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding Stanley in death are his parents: William Delmar and Grace Edna (Weaver) Moreland; two brothers: Carl and Paul Moreland; three sisters: Judith Faye Moreland, Novella Bullock and Wilma June Gardner.

Services
Services for Stanley will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Jerry Beers officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at the Flags Springs Church Cemetery near St. James, Missouri.
