Hannelore E. Abney

Hannelore Elfriede Abney of St. James passed away Wednesday November 11, 2009 in St. Louis, Mo. She was 68 years 10 months and 16 days of age.

Hannelore was born December 26, 1940 in Augsburg, Germany the daughter of the late Eduward and Maria (Kaiser) Leitenmayr.

On March 21, 1962 in Augsburg, Germany, Hannelore was united in marriage to Bobby E. Abney.

She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Abney of St. James. Dear Sons: Brian Abney and wife Cheryl of O'Fallon, Mo and Eric Abney and wife Rita of O'Fallon, Mo., one Dear Daughter Beatrix Mosley and husband David of St. Peters, Mo. Sister: Inge Kaps and husband Pete of St. Peters, Mo., along with 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Services
Hannelore E. Abney will lie in state 2-8 p.m. Sunday November15, 2009 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Mass will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday November 16, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. James. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery. Masses may be given to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or memorials to the Lung Association in Memory of Hannelore Abney.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
