He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Venitta Giesler of St. James, Missouri, and Madge and Harrison Moreland of Cuba, Missouri; one uncle, Ronald “Shorty” Moreland, of Cuba, Missouri.

Waide graduated from John F. Hodge High School in 1995; where he played baseball, basketball, football for the St. James Tigers, and was a member of the Chamber and Concert choirs.  He received a letter of commendation from the Governor of Missouri for attending 14 years of school without missing a day; he always said he wanted to be like his Uncle Ronnie who did the same when he attended St. James schools.  He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and spending time with his nephews, nieces, and friends.  Waide had a firm faith in God, a huge heart, loved his family very much, and was always helping those in need.  He worked for Holt Plumbing for many years and cared for and thought very much of Donnie.  He was a skilled painter and loved to paint.
